I started this blog for a class project (Social Media and Public Relations)..
                                                            ..and it somehow turned in to a personal one.

In brainstorming ideas for my first post, I thought about the topics I wanted to write about. Music? Possibly. Fashion? Maybe. Travel? Definitely.

Inspired by the idea of glamorous “jet set” travel, I thought back on my personal traveling experiences. I have only been to Europe once, that doesn't make me an experienced traveler.. I then remembered the domestic sky miles and increasing mileage I've put on my Honda Pilot in the past three years.

Since June 2008, I have visited a few new cities (Boston, Los Angeles, New Orleans).. And returned to a few (New York 4x, DC 3x, Atlanta).

So I decided, I have to visit every big city in America. I am only 21, so I have time to check cities off my list. Sure, I have dreams of further exploring the globe, but I was born in America.

Even in going to Europe, I developed a special appreciation for what America's big cities have to offer the traveler (especially important after 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina). I want to promote domestic travel. I am intrigued by metropolitan society, so my smaller-town adventures are not the focus of this blog. In between trips (so, most of the time..), I will post travel-related things and special promotions for online shopping (marked as MAJ BONUS).. 

I may not have been to every city in the US, but I have had my share of spontaneous, last minute adventures. I do not consider myself to be a "jet setter", but hopefully this blog can help me reach my goal!
